VIDEO: Long-vacant 7.7-acres in Roxbury, Massachusetts is about to be revitalized as transit-oriented affordable housing

The long-suffering Boston, Massachusetts neighborhood city of Roxbury is about to see a 7.7-acre plot—vacant for years— revitalized into exactly the way they need most.

On October 4, 2022, it was announced that the HYM Investment Group will move forward with its redevelopment project for the 7.7 acres of vacant land across from Boston Police Department headquarters.

Even better, the focus will be on transit-oriented affordable housing, which Roxbury—like most communities—desperately needs if it is going to have any chance of achieving lasting revitalization, AKA (resilient prosperity).
