VIDEO: Plagued by derelict textile mills, this South Carolina city will turn one eyesore into housing to revitalize a neighborhood

In Anderson County, South Carolina, the city of Anderson is about to transform one of their many derelict textile mill sites in new housing.

It’s their first such project, and they hope it won’t be the last.

The mill site has been abandoned and partially demolished for many years, and the resulting eyesore has led the the devitalization of the surrounding neighborhood. Thay plan to reverse that downward trend with this redevelopment project.
