On August 22, 2022 in Virginia, Governor Glenn Youngkin and other state and city leaders detailed a plan to rejuvenate and revitalize the historic city of Petersburg.
The Partnership for Petersburg is a multifaceted plan to improve education, public safety, health, and transportation issues, among others, that have plagued the city for decades.
In making the announcement, Youngkin said that “the critical element of this partnership is…everyone.”
