The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is remediating 37 abandoned uranium mine and mill sites located in northern Saskatchewan, Canada as part of Project CLEANS (Cleanup of Abandoned Northern Sites).
For the past several years, the Project CLEANS team has worked with communities, leadership and regulators to determine priorities for each season, as well as what remediation options will be chosen for the sites.
