VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Restore natural & cultural heritage in France

Canadian Alliance for Development Initiatives and Projects (CADIP) is a non-profit Canadian organization. It has no religious or political affiliation. Through various charity, volunteer and youth initiatives, Cadip promotes peace, cooperation, tolerance and understanding in multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and international surroundings. The organization also promotes patterns and examples of civil activities focused on serving others, on building social ties and strengthening communities, on supporting civil society development.

CADIP has numerous opportunities to restore natural and cultural heritage throughout France. In most cases, the language used at the project will be English (a few use French). These include:

  • RESTORING A STREAM AND CREATING AN INTERPRETIVE TRAIL IN AN AUTHENTIC ALPINE VILLAGE (Villard Reculas, Rhone-Alpes)
  • RESTORATION PROJECTS AND SUPPORT FOR THE ELDERLY (Etoile Sur Rhone)
  • REHABILITATION OF A RURAL HERITAGE SITE (Chaspinhac, Auvergne)
  • IMPROVING THE ENVIRONMENT IN BEAUJOLAIS WINE GROWING REGION (Pommiers, Rhone-Alpes)
  • ENHANCEMENT OF TERRACED GARDENS (Chateauponsac, Limousin)
  • RESTORATION OF TRADITIONAL OVENS (Chalvignac, Auvergne)
  • RESTORATION OF HISTORIC MILITARY FORTIFICATIONS (Dardilly, Limonest & Saint-Didier, Rhone-Alpes)
  • RENOVATION OF THE BUILT HERITAGE OF BEAUJOLAIS (Morancé, Rhone-Alpes)
  • RENOVATION OF HIKING TRAILS BY THE SEINE RIVER (Juziers, Île-de-France)
  • HERITAGE RESTORATION PROJECT (Herment, Auvergne)
  • RESTORATION OF DRY STONE WALLS IN THE BEAUJOLAIS COUNTRYSIDE (Charnay-en-Beaujolais, Rhone-Alpes)
  • RESTORATION OF AN ANCIENT MOUNTAIN CASTLE (Durban-sur-Arize, Midi-Pyrenees)
  • RESTORATION OF THE LOCAL HERITAGE IN PAYS DE TRONCAIS (Herisson, Auvergne)
  • RENOVATION OF AN OLD VILLAGE SQUARE (Pont Saint Esprit, Rhone-Alpes)
  • FOOTPATH RESTORATION (Pontaix, Rhone-Alpes)
  • RESTORATION OF HERITAGE SITES IN A MEDIEVAL VILLAGE (Puy l’Eveque, Midi-Pyrenees)
