WANTED: Communications Coordinator for neighborhood revitalization non-profit (IL)

Rebuild Foundation is a Chicago-based nonprofit organization that endeavors to rebuild the cultural foundations of under-invested neighborhoods and incite movements of community revitalization that are culture based, artist led, and neighborhood driven.

The Communications and Event Coordinator is a full-time exempt position that provides critical support to Rebuild’s program and operations staff, developing strategies to increase the visibility of our screenings, exhi-bitions, workshops, and other public programs.

The Communications and Event Coordinator is responsible for Rebuild’s social media presence, weekly e-newsletter, monthly program calendar, and promotional materials (postcards, flyers, etc.).

The Communications and Event Coordinator also works with program and operations staff to support event rentals across all of Rebuild’s program sites and supports development staff and CEO during the planning and execution development-related events, including an annual benefit.
