The City of Thousand Oaks, California seeks a Community Development Director.
As a key Department Head and member of the Executive Team, the Community Development Director will report to the Assistant City Manager and manage the delivery of Community Development services.
The Community Development Director will integrate the City’s vision, goals, and people strategy with the business strategy of the Community Development Department; direct, plan and organize Community Development
services, programs, and operations; develop and implement policy; craft and accomplish department and City objectives, goals, and performance metrics within guidelines established by the City Council and City Manager.
Assignments are broad in scope, complex and highly responsible in nature.
The Community Development Director must exercise a high degree of judgment and discretion along with political and business acumen.
Annual salary range: $141,373 – $212,060
