WANTED: Director of Wetlands and Riparian Restoration (NYC)

The Forestry, Horticulture and Natural Resources (FHNR) of the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation seeks a Director of Wetlands and Riparian Restoration.

The mission of FHNR is to protect, restore, expand and manage New York City’s natural spaces and green infrastructure to maximize their benefits and promote their value within and outside of the urban ecosystem.

This position, under direction of the Chief of Natural Resources, with latitude for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative, will oversee the team of professionals at FHNR focused on protection, restoration and management of wetland, riparian and water resources across NYC parkland.

Salary: $85,000 – $100,000
