WANTED: Ecological Restoration Education Specialist for San Francisco Bay (CA)

Save The Bay seeks a full-time Restoration Education Specialist.

Save The Bay is the San Francisco Bay Area’s oldest and largest membership organization working exclusively to protect and restore San Francisco Bay and its watershed. The Bay Area’s quality of life and economy depend on a healthy and vibrant Bay. Save The Bay’s 10,000 members work with our staff and volunteers to protect the Bay from today’s threats – pollution and sprawl.

Since 1961, Save The Bay’s members have successfully fought for a Bay that the whole community can enjoy and embrace. Save The Bay protects the Bay by waging and winning effective campaigns, restores the Bay by revitalizing wetlands and celebrates the Bay by creating recreation and educational opportunities for everyone.

The Restoration Education Specialist is responsible for program delivery and curriculum development for Save The Bay’s (STB) Community-based Restoration education programs. The Restoration Education Specialist will lead programs serving 5th through 12th grade students and teachers around the Bay Area, as well as leading assisting with corporate and public restoration events. The Restoration Education Specialist is also responsible for assisting the Restoration Education Program Coordinator in education program content development, evaluation, outreach, and marketing. The Restoration Education Specialist is supervised by the Restoration Program Manager.
