Los Angeles Waterkeeper of Santa Monica, California, a dynamic nonprofit organization founded in 1993 to protect and restore the Santa Monica Bay, San Pedro Bay and adjacent waters, is seeking a highly-motivated individual to join our team as Events & Membership Coordinator.
The Events & Membership Coordinator will: organize Waterkeeper’s events, including our signature Stand Up For Clean Water paddle event and yearly Coastal Cleanup Day site; grow and mobilize our membership base through community outreach events, membership communications, and supporting efforts to increase LAW’s brand recognition; support development efforts through event assistance for our signature Making Waves fundraiser, managing donor database, and assisting fundraising efforts and donor outreach as needed. This position reports to the Communications Manager.
