The Downtown Orangeburg Revitalization Association (DORA) in Orangeburg, South Carolina seeks an energetic executive director to work with its Board of Directors to implement revitalization strategies set forth in its Community Vision Plan.
With a population of 13,000 and a primary trade area of 54,000, Orangeburg is located in South Carolina’s Midlands. DORA has been an accredited Main Street program since 1993.
We are seeking an executive director to nurture collaboration relationships to benefit mutual downtown goals, to continue momentum in taking DORA’s established vision to action.
The executive director will coordinate downtown organization, promotion, economic development, design and marketing activities and perform related work as required. Manage all aspects and activities of the 501C3 organization including complex administrative, technical and professional work. Collaborates with community stakeholders to advance the mission of DORA. This position reports to the DORA Board of Directors.
