WANTED: Executive Director for watershed restoration non-profit in Oregon

The Coos Watershed Association in Coos Bay, Oregon is seeking a new executive director.

The Executive Director strengthens Coos Watershed Association’s ability to conduct watershed restoration efforts and develops both human and financial resources to build the collaborations that will make long-term success possible.

In conjunction with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for leadership of Coos Watershed Association with particular focus on strategic planning and implementation of actions to fulfill its mission to “support environmental integrity and economic stability within the Coos watershed by increasing community capacity to develop, test, promote, and implement management practices in the interest of watershed health.

The Executive Director reports to the Executive Committee and to the Board of Directors and oversees all operational aspects of the organization. Specifically, the Executive Director is responsible for achieving organizational goals, supervising staff, and providing inspiring leadership to the Board, staff, local community, and larger watershed council network.
