Georgetown Main Street seeks an Executive Director / Program Manager for its Washington, DC office.
This individual will be responsible for the management, coordination, documentation and implementation of the Main Street revitalization program
Georgetown Main Street (GMS) is a new non-profit organization that is in the process of incorporating and applying for an official Main Street designation from the city of Washington, DC.
Georgetown Main Street (GMS) is one of the four new proposed DC Main Street programs that will launch in late 2017. Once the designation is issued, GMS will seek to stabilize and rejuvenate the business community of the Georgetown neighborhood.
Using the “Main Street Four Point Approach” as described by the National Main Street Center of Promotions, Design, Organization, and Economic Vitality, Georgetown Main Street will work to help retain and recruit small businesses to the Wisconsin Avenue Corridor in Georgetown between the Whitehurst Parkway and the K Street Waterfront.
SALARY: Minimum: $50,000.00 / Maximum: $65,000.00
