WANTED: Executive Director, salmon restoration non-profit (Seattle, WA)

Mid Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group (MSFEG), a nonprofit, has an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who’s passionate about salmon recovery. MSFEG works with communities in the central Puget Sound area to restore local stream and near-shore habitat, so salmon can thrive.

As our Executive Director, you will build on our 25-year track record of success, and lead us forward, growing the organization to better serve the needs of salmon and the communities that surround them. You are as comfortable standing knee-deep in a stream as you are rubbing elbows with lawmakers in Olympia. And you work as well autonomously as you do collaborating with others, including local communities, citizen volunteers and landowners. You thrive on all of the above.

If you have a passion for salmon restoration, a background in habitat restoration projects, and the desire to build partnerships with other organizations and volunteers, send a letter of introduction and your resume to: Matt Distler, Board Treasurer, at mtdistler@gmail.com

Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, some evenings and weekends

Salary and Benefits: $55,000-$65,000 per year starting salary, depending on qualifications.
Benefits include vacation and holiday pay, and retirement match.

Deadline: Open until filled. Priority given to applications received by 10/21/16.
