WANTED: Executive Director to restore salmon & create vibrant communities

The Washington Coast Sustainable Salmon Foundation (Foundation) is seeking an Executive Director for its Aberdeen, Washington office.

The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation created to protect and maintain healthy salmonid habitats and populations, and to restore degraded habitats and diminished populations throughout the watersheds that flow directly to the Pacific Ocean from Cape Flattery in the north to Cape Disappointment in the south. In so doing, the Foundation seeks to help maintain vibrant and diverse local, natural resource-based communities.

The Foundation is the “sister” organization to the Washington Coast Sustainable Salmon Partnership (Partnership), a cooperative venture of the Lead Entity Groups for salmon recovery in Watershed Resource Inventory Areas (WRIA) 20 through 24, also known as the “Washington Coast Region,” established and organized for the purpose of facilitating collaborative decision-making in support of salmonid restoration and sustainability.

This is a full-time position $70,000 to $85,000, depending on qualifications.
