WANTED: Habitat restoration plant ecologist for National Park Service (CA)

The Department Of The Interior’s National Park Service seeks a plant ecologist to focus on habitat restoration in their Paicines, California office.

This position is located within the National Park Service, Pacific West Region, Pinnacles National Park, supporting the Division of Resource Management.

This is a permanent full-time position. The position is subject to occasional weekend work and teleworking may be available on an incidental basis.

This position serves as the program manager for the plant ecology and habitat restoration program.

The incumbent is a key member of the resources management team and is instrumental in maintaining and building an excellent natural resource program.

This position has tremendous opportunity to influence resource stewardship within the park and within the larger landscape.

The position is mostly in the office with occasional field work and directs field staff, volunteers, and interns who conduct field work throughout the year.

SALARY RANGE: $70,333.00 to $91,433.00 / Per Year
OPEN PERIOD: Tuesday, February 16, 2016 to Monday, February 29, 2016
