WANTED: Manager, National Historic Properties Redevelopment Program (DC)

The National Trust for Historic Preservation, in partnership with the 1772 Foundation, has established a Historic Properties Redevelopment Program (HPRP) Office at the Trust, and seeks a manager for the program.

The HPRP serves and supports non-profit preservation organizations, revolving fund managers, housing and planning officials, foundation leaders, and students in related graduate and professional programs.

Unless otherwise arranged, the manager will be located at National Trust headquarters in Washington, D.C. and will work within the Preservation Resources Department (PRD). P

RD has a strong track record of providing services in this area including hosting the revolving fund convening’s at the National Preservation Conference, creating high-level real estate development conference sessions, and partnering with the National Development Council on the advanced historic real estate training workshop series—all of which have been funded by 1772.

NOTE: This position is currently offered as a long term temporary position for 9 months – but full time, with full benefits. Continuation of the position beyond 9 months is expected, contingent upon availability of funding, success of the work, and the needs of the organization.
