WANTED: Neighborhood Revitalization Manager (Texas)

The City of Temple, Texas seeks a full-time Neighborhood Revitalization Manager for its Transform Temple program.

As part of the City’s Transform Temple program, the purpose of this position is to plan, organize, and manage the day to day activities of the City’s Neighborhood Revitalization Program. This position assists the Director of Transform Temple in developing and implementing policy and programs and identifying new opportunities in a variety of neighborhood and housing revitalization programs.

This position is responsible for supervising the City’s Resource Coordinator positions. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required. Four years of previous experience in a related field such as community development, public administration, or neighborhood revitalization is required, supplemented by at least one year of supervisory experience.

An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license. Must possess certification as a Registered Code Enforcement Officer in the State of Texas or be able to obtain certification within six months of employment.

Compensation/Hours: $21.96-$25.53/hr., DOQ; M-F, 8am-5pm, weekends & evenings as necessary.
