The City of Glendale, Arizona seeks a full-time Revitalization Coordinator / Grants Administrator.
This person will develop and administer community development, neighborhood revitalization, and homeless programs including program administration, project management, and delivery.
Minimum Qualifications & Special Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, grants management, public administration, or a related field and two years project management experience in housing rehabilitation, construction, grant funded programs, or community development.
Neighborhood Revitalization Programs Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnership (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grants, and Historic Preservation Program policy analysis and development Environmental Review Records Labor Standard Provisions Principles of contract administration Procurement and Bidding Practices Computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Effectively interpret federal, state, and local statutes, and regulations Communicate effectively verbally and in writing Effectively negotiate contracts Establish effective working relationships with clients, community groups, and residents of varying socioeconomic backgrounds Analyze policies guiding revitalization programs and develop solutions to increase program effectiveness
Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying.
Salary: $49,446.00 – $74,169.00 annually
