WANTED: Rockefeller’s 100 Resilient Cities seeks Director of Americas

The Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities program is looking to hire a Director of City Relationships, Americas (North, Central, and South).

The Director of City Relationships, Americas will play a key role in deepening the impact of 100 Resilient Cities by helping enliven, deepen and maximize the organization’s efforts, particularly with member cities and partners across North, South, and Central America.

Within this geography, the Director of City Relationships, Americas will help set the strategic vision for the portfolio; lead, enable, and develop a team responsible for delivering and implementing program offerings; and facilitate strong communication, collaboration and transparent information sharing across 100RC teams. S/he must understand the resilience needs and opportunities of the region and provide context for implementing the program while meeting organizational objectives and outcomes, including creating a positive and learning working environment for the regional team.

The Director of City Relationships, Americas will be active in influencing cities to develop and implement a resilience agenda and in concert with his/her staff of City Relationship Managers and Chief Resilience Officers, will generate productive and results-oriented relationships with senior city officials, relevant leaders, and a coalition of partners.

Reporting directly to the Vice President, City Relationships and working closely with the President, s/he will be an active member of the organization’s leadership team and will serve as a central liaison between the City Relationships team and other departments at 100RC including Operations, Platform Services, Communications, and Knowledge Management.
