WANTED: Watershed Restoration Manager (Vermont)

The Nature Conservancy seeks a Watershed Restoration Manager for its Montpelier, Vermont office.

The Watershed Restoration Manager advances the Conservancy’s river and stream protection and restoration priorities in Vermont by supporting project planning, prioritization and monitoring; by coordinating outreach efforts with a diverse set of stakeholders; and by advancing the implementation of high-priority projects.

The desired candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience in natural resource management or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience and/or course work in ecology, environmental studies, engineering, geology, river science or related field; management and restoration of freshwater ecosystems; and knowledge of the current trends and practices in conservation.
