WANTED: Coastal Habitat Restoration Manager for non-profit (Louisiana)

The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana (CRCL) is seeking a Coordinator for its Habitat Restoration Program.

CRCL is a non-profit organization whose mission is to drive bold, science-based action to rebuild coastal Louisiana through outreach, restoration, and advocacy. CRCL unites business leaders, scientists, landowners, national and local conservation groups, government agencies, hunters, anglers, and a broad spectrum of concerned citizens to advance restoration of a sustainable coastal Louisiana. The successful applicant will join a talented team and enjoy a high-energy, flexible work environment.

The Coordinator will build support for coastal restoration by providing opportunities for volunteers to participate in on-the-ground habitat restoration work such as dune restoration on the Cameron shoreline, marsh plantings in Vermilion Parish, and coastal forest restoration on the shores of Lake Pontchartrain. Since 2000, CRCL’s Restoration Program has recruited over 12,000 volunteers to help restore 4,500 acres of coastal habitat. The Coordinator will lead the planning and execution of events engaging 600+ people annually.
