On July 1, 2021, the Eastern Maine Development Corporation (EMDC) released their new Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), 2021-2025.
It identifies goals and objectives for the Eastern Maine region that guide economic growth and regional resilience.
EMDC is designated by the U.S. Economic Development Agency (EDA) to update the plan every 5 years.
The result is a living document that is data-rich, and thoughtfully created with diverse public and private stakeholder input.
