Here’s a massive revitalization opportunity: You can redevelop 121 parcels in downtown Pompano Beach, Florida

The City of Pompano Beach, Florida and the Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) are offering a rare and unique mixed-use redevelopment opportunity in the City’s Downtown.

This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to redevelop up to 121 parcels of highly visible land in Downtown Pompano Beach. The scarcity of land in South Florida, combined with the location and demographics of Pompano Beach, create a true placemaking opportunity. The information contained in this solicitation reflects the conceptual criteria and development goals that the City and CRA would like to achieve in selecting a Master Developer.

Respondents must be registered on the City’s eBid System in order to view the solicitation documents and respond to this solicitation. The City and CRA are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of any documentation a Respondent receives from any source other than from the eBid System. Respondents are solely responsible for downloading all required documents. A list of Respondents will be read aloud in a public forum.

The subject parcels are owned by the CRA and the City and range from ±.2 acres and assemblages up to 8.35 acres for a total of +/- 75.38 acres. The City envisions connecting the four quadrants of Downtown at the intersection of Atlantic Boulevard and Dixie Highway extending along Atlantic Boulevard west toward I-95. The western-most portion of the site is one of the only assemblages left in South Florida that is undeveloped along the busy I-95 corridor.

Responses should take advantage of the four quadrants as the gateway to Downtown as well as from I-95 heading east into downtown and the beaches. Respondents are encouraged to include iconic features in their design that help brand downtown Pompano Beach as a vibrant and economically strong community.

Responses must be submitted electronically through the City’s eBid System on or before the due date and time. Any response received after the due date and time specified herein will not be considered. Any uncertainty regarding the time a proposal is received will be resolved against the Respondent.

An Optional Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM. (local) in person and via Zoom.
